How can someone possibly receive the same benefits when Reiki is done from a distance versus in person?

It surely seems out of the norm when thinking it is possible to receive Reiki “through the air”, but it is absolutely possible!

Reiki means “universal life force” and we are all composed of energy/frequencies/vibrations. Think of a radio. We tune into a specific station’s frequency and then we hear what is being broadcasted. Another perspective is to think of a heart that stops. What does someone do to get it going again? Send it an electrical current or energy!

Distance Reiki parallels this. Practitioners are attuned to a distance Reiki symbol which allows the path to healing to come from source and go to the person’s energetic essence. The practitioner is tuning into a frequency that matches the client’s. Then this energy is passed on to the client through the practitioner. 

Each practitioner has their own, unique way of working with energy. I create a visual in my head of you and look at the energy in each of your Chakras to see if they are spinning. If one is stuck, I help it to rotate. I look and feel to see if your energy is flowing throughout your body and then ground you to Mother Earth. During a session, I typically feel a tingling in my hands, along with heat. Sometimes the client also feels the heat radiating from my hands.

As a bonus, I also receive past life visuals and messages along with the energy for the client’s best interest at the time.
